چکیده

Objective: Bone mineral density decreases after liver transplantation, and the incidence of vertebral fracture concerning this increase. Vertebral fractures due to bone increase mortality pain, spinal deformity, neurological deficit, immobility. This study discussed patients with a who underwent transplantation received kyphoplasty conservative treatments reference clinical treatments. Methods: Among 2200 between 2002-2020, 65 110 Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT) back low pain had fractures. Of these patients, 48 were unstable, 17 stable Patients grouped as (n=9) balloon (n=8), groups compared following parameters: age, sex, densitometry, laboratory findings (Ca, P), levels, cigarette, high blood pressure, alcohol use, pre-operation, post-operation 20th-day Visual Analogue Scale scores. Results: While there no significant differences VAS score 20 days in treatment, difference was found kyphoplasty. Conclusion: It disrupts patient compliance treating primary disease immobilization organ increases complications immobilization. Therefore, performing is recommended symptomatic that do not require stabilization regardless score.

Management of HBV Infection in Liver Transplantation Patients

In the absence of preventative therapy, reinfection of allografts with hepatitis B virus (HBV) after orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) resulted in dismal allograft and patient survival. Major advances in the management of HBV-infected recipients of OLT during the past 15 years have steadily reduced the rate of reinfection, resulting in improved outcomes. Initially, long-term use of hepatit...
